Hope or Hoax?

(Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003 -- CropChoice news) -- Indian agriculture and trade writer and analyst Devinder Sharma is touring the United States and Canada.

He will be a guest on Saturday, Nov. 22 on The Food Chain radio show.

According to an announcement for the show: "We have reduced infant mortality throughout the developing world, and now have many mouths to feed with many, many more on the way. And so we pause to ask, “How are we going to feed all these hungry people?”

This Saturday at 9AM Pacific, the Food Chain with Michael Olson hosts noted researcher Devinder Sharma from India, and Executive Director Linda Thrane from the Council for BioTech Information, for a conversation about the role of genetically-engineered foods in developing nations.
