Scientist tells organic food conference about increased pesticide residues (Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003 -- CropChoice news) -- Pesticide residues in crops are going up as a result of genetically engineered varieties, mostly Roundup Ready. The EPA is currently considering raising Roundup residue tolerances for wheat, the transgenic varieties of which are expected soon.
